Not being a regular of the London Punk scene myself, my own experience of Reggae-Punk collective The Skints was slim to none. I did know, however, that as one of the hardest touring bands in the UK, they’re infamous reputation as a fantastic live act across London is hard to beat. Describing their sound as being moulded on “forty plus years of influence from Jamaican music, played in a London style”. I caught up with vocalist Josh Waters Rudge to chat live acts, politicised fans and a schedule that sees them jet from Germany to Guadalupe in the matter of days.
